About the role

As the E-commerce & Trade Manager (US) at Abbott Lyon, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's online sales and brand presence in the United States market. Leveraging your expertise in e-commerce strategies and website management, you will be responsible for optimising our online store's performance, planning trade activities, and enhancing customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our US Shopify Website, ensuring smooth functionality, user experience, and performance optimisation.
  • Manage product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory levels to maximise sales and profitability.
  • Implement best practices for SEO, site speed optimization, and mobile responsiveness to enhance online visibility and conversions.

Trade Planning & Management

  • Develop and execute strategic trade plans to drive online sales growth in the US market, including product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional activities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, consumer behaviours, and competitive landscape, translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital marketing, influencer, Brand and our wider Global team to ensure the US site and Trade Calendar is aligned with wider business guidelines and objectives.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and sales data, contributing to reports and insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with our external A/B testing agency to plan and execute a high-impact testing plan, including reporting on results and rolling out optimisations.

Customer Experience and Retention

  • Champion a customer-centric approach by ensuring a seamless shopping experience, from browsing to checkout, and post-purchase support.
  • Support CRM Manager in planning, briefing and building Email & SMS communications to our US Database with the goal of maximising repeat purchase and lifetime value.

  • Proven Experience running Trade and Ecom within the US Market

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with the Shopify Platform
  • Experience reporting using Shopify Analytics and GA4

Location

Remote with two days per fortnight in Bath, however, the Company may require you to spend additional time in the Bath office (or any other office you work from) for the proper performance of your duties.
