White Woods Primary Academy Trust was established in September 2013 by three self-converting primary schools and has grown rapidly over the past six years.

There are now 13 schools in our Trust, all within the borough of Rotherham.

The role will involve working across all age groups to support teaching and learning.

We are seeking:

***- An excellent practitioner who is competent in literacy and numeracy and holds relevant qualifications.

  • Has experience of working within a school setting.
  • Is able to work as part of a team in a lively learning environment.

Duties will include:

***- Working alongside EYFS Teacher and Lead Practitioner to support Teaching and Learning in EYFS.

  • Provide learning activities for individuals and groups of pupils under the professional direction and supervision of a qualified teacher, differentiating and adapting learning programmes to suit the needs of allocated pupils (including other year groups)
  • Provide specialist key worker support to student
  • Select and adapt appropriate resources/methods to facilitate agreed learning activities.
  • Support pupils in social and emotional wellbeing, reporting problems to the teacher as appropriate.
  • Share information about pupils with other staff, parents/carers, internal and external agencies as appropriate.
  • Enhancing learning across school, with small groups and on a onetoone basis.
  • Supporting the children's social and emotional wellbeing.
Keeping up-to-date records as required.
