*A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD AND BEVERAGE TEAM MEMBER AT THE MUNICIPAL HOTEL
  • Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will be based at the hotel on an hourly basis up to 40 hours per week (variety of shifts available).

Take ownership for your part of the guest journey, making an immediate heartfelt welcome to ensure their memorable experience within the hotel.


  • To converse with the guests from the heart, being attentive and reactive to requests, taking and delivering food orders and anticipating their needs.
  • Deliver impeccable personable service, making Palm Court, The Botanic Tea Room and the Seaforth Restaurant THE place to be seen
  • Be conversant with all of our tantalising cocktails, beverages and food menus
  • To be a team player, building collaborative relationships with the Kitchen and Bar teams for a seamfree operation
  • To succeed in the role of Food and Beverage Team Member, you will need the following qualities and skills.
  • Knowledge of working within a food and beverage operation in a hotel or restaurant is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of wine, spirits and cocktails
  • Flexibility to work across varied shift patterns
