Further InformationAn exciting opportunity has arisen within Resident and Business Support for a System & Service Support Lead to join the Revenues and Benefits service.
The Revenues and Benefits service provides vital services to the Council in the collection of Council Tax and Business Rates, and the assessment and payment of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction.
In line with the Council's values and as part of a busy and fast-moving environment, you will be expected to interrogate the Revenues NEC system, extracting data to support the completion of Government Returns, FOI Requests and to help inform business decisions.
There is an expectation that this role will also support with the monitoring and forecasting of Collection Rates, gathering Financial Information and working with other finance colleagues.
This is a technical role which is ideally suited to an individual with in-depth Council Tax and Business Rates knowledge who has the specific IT skills to be able to extract data/information/design reports ideally with experience of the NEC database. The successful candidate may also be expected to support the work of the Benefits Service.
