Main Responsibilities of the Credit Control Manager:

  • Supervise and oversee customer accounts to ensure timely settlement of invoices
  • Contact key clients via phone, email, or post to follow up on outstanding payments
  • Resolve billing disputes or discrepancies with customers
  • Maintain precise records of all customer interactions related to payments
  • Collaborate with retail and sales teams to address credit-related concerns with clients
  • Evaluate credit applications and suggest credit limits for new clients
  • Focus on reducing debtor days
  • Work closely with the finance team to reconcile accounts receivable and address any anomalies
  • Prepare reports on accounts receivable aging and offer insights on overdue accounts
