We're seeking a Lead Generation Specialist to identify and nurture leads, drive brand awareness, and build a qualified database of prospects across our platforms – TravMedia, Property4Media, Homes4Media, and Food4Media. This new role will be the catalyst in a collaborative process within our small and nimble team, fostering a continuous loop of lead generation, subscriber acquisition, relationship-building and customer-retention that drives business expansion across our platforms.

Our industry-leading websites are the go-to channels for connecting the media with their respective industries. Joining our team means working with hundreds of top brands and key journalists representing media powerhouses such as the BBC, Daily Mail, Independent, The Telegraph, Times, The Guardian, and other dailies, glossies, trade, and specialist titles.
The Role
You'll work closely with our Sales and Marketing Manager to identify and engage with potential customers at the top of the sales funnel. The successful candidate will be skilled in digital lead generation through email outreach, social media campaigns, and online research, while also possessing a confident telephone manner, along with strong organisational skills and the capacity to handle multiple products efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
· Research, identify, and engage with senior PR professionals and brands across the appropriate sectors.
· Conduct digital research via online search and across social media channel to identify key contacts within target companies and their corresponding email addresses.
· Work with the sales marketing team and content editors to identify high-potential leads.
· Identify, contact, and convert leads through telephone outreach.
· Build and manage a pipeline of leads, qualifying them accordingly.
· Research and implement paid reach, including social media and Google Ads, as budget allows.
· Maintain detailed call logs and implement follow-up strategies.
· Kickstart relationships with PR decision-makers at the beginning of their journey with the platforms.
· Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager to guide potential clients through platform trials effectively.
· Drive awareness, initiatives, and actions to generate trials and sales.
· Provide timely and accurate progress reports to the Sales and Marketing Manager/Managing Director.
· Attend industry events and engage with key PR prospects.
· Attend weekly face-to-face sales and/or strategy meetings in the office.
Candidate Profile
We love graduates, but we're also big fans of self-starters who have chosen a different route and possess at least two years' experience in sales or a related field.
· Minimum two years' sales/business development/growth marketing experience.
· Familiarity with digital lead generation techniques and strategies.
· Strong telephone skills.
· Strong aptitude for organisation and reporting.
· Experience communicating with senior-level prospects.
· Excellent time management and organisational skills.
· Ability to work on multiple projects at one time and adapt to changing demands of the wider team.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
· Energetic, positive, personable, and persuasive.
· Self-starter with a focus on results.
· A lateral thinker.
· Attention to detail.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
