We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team.

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. 5 axis machining experience is essential.

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations according to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
  • Select and install cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and machine accessories
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines or tooling
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance

To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:

  • Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD software
  • Knowledge of tooling and machining processes
  • Familiarity with plastics injection molding is a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

Job Types:

Salary:
£15.00-£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
