Recovery Practitioner in Horizon, Blackpool


Delphi Medical is a values led, innovative and specialist addiction (drug and alcohol) service, inspiring their clients to progress safely and successfully from dependance to freedom.

What you'll be doing

  • This is a really exciting and rewarding role where you'll be able to positively impact people's future, improving their prospects and their quality of life.
  • As a Recovery Practitioner you will need to be able to work in Blackpool, with a committed team, providing care and support to people who use our services to deliver the best possible outcomes for those in our care.
  • You will be responsible for daytoday delivery and provision of one to one psychosocial interventions (behaviour change), medically assisted treatment (prescribed medications to support recovery), and case management for clients within the Blackpool treatment model for drug and alcohol recovery.
  • You will work closely with other services to ensure our clients are able to achieve their recovery goals, positive outcomes and community reintegration, maximising engagement and retention.
  • You will be primarily based at Winstone House or Dickson Road and will be working across Blackpool in venues frequented by our clients.
  • Your hours of work would be 37.5 hours per week which will be predominantly Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm however some evening, weekend or early starts may be required (in certain roles).
