This role requires a deep understanding of electronic circuits, components and systems, along with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Role: Senior Electronics Engineer

Location: England

Salary: £50k to £70k

Sector: EV

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of complex electronic systems and components.
  • Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard software.
  • Conduct simulations and analyses to validate designs.
  • Oversee the prototyping, testing, and debugging of electronic systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
  • Stay current with advancements in electronics engineering and incorporate new technologies into designs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Commercial experience in electronics design and development.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, FPGAs, and embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC, IEEE, and others.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
