Paraplanner Relevant skills and knowledge:

  • Technical knowledge and qualification: Ideally at level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning with a minimum of 2 years industry experience.
  • Detailed understanding of compliance and paraplanning procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads, maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • High level of organizational, IT, and analytical skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

Behaviours:

  • Maintain a team approach with an energetic problem-solving spirit.
  • Comfortable working in a monitored environment.

Paraplanner General responsibilities:

  • Compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Stay updated on product and technical changes.
  • Support advisers with pre-sale documentation.
  • Ensure compliance of client files.
  • Assist other departments for client outcomes.
  • Maintain competence and performance standards.

Paraplanner Specific responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain client files with relevant information.
  • Undertake research for suitable client solutions.
  • Prepare documentation and draft reports.
  • Handle technical queries and complex cases.
  • Quality check work and support other team members.
  • Maintain records and provide absence cover.
