CNC Setter
Our client, a well
- established manufacturing company located in the Newry Area, are in search of a
CNC Setter to join their team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Programming and set up of CNC
- Changing the tooling of the CNC machine
- Observing machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings to detect malfunctions, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometre and dial calliper
- Maintain accurate data/records/documentation associated
- Carry out planned tasks in accordance with requirements/deadlines
- Carry out tasks within allotted time limits
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, policies and procedures, codes and legislation including H&S
- Responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet budgetary controls
- 2 years' experience in similar role
- Ability to write/ edit programmes on CNC milling machinery
- Experience of Fanuc iseries controls
- Previous experience working to quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Good level of verbal and written English
- Ability to demonstrate a strong timekeeping & attendance record
