Urban Greening Project Officer

Would you like to use your strong environmental and project management background to deliver urban greening principles to local communities and organisations?

We're recruiting a 12-month fixed-term Project Officer to lead a grant funded project that will:

  • Help communities take practical urban greening actions by delivering workshops in our 'Green Heart Parks' which provide the skills and resources for residents and community leaders /groups to replicate at home and in their community spaces.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders to deliver urban greening principles in key locations (e.g. SUDs, planters, street trees and swift towers).
  • Develop a 'Community Gardeners' scheme to galvanise public support for our urban greening initiatives, creating an army of manpower to ensure there is a legacy to the project.
