This role offers:

You will be part of the CAMHS liaison service. Providing frontline support to families in immediate crisis.

We offer short term help, comprehensive mental health assessment, and training and supervision for hospital staff, schools, GPs and Ambulance.

As part of this opportunity you will be provided with exciting training opportunities. These include DBT, Simulation Facilitator Training, Therapeutic Assessment Training, Restorative Practise and Dyadic developmental psychotherapy.


The Senior Practitioners provide strong clinical leadership, ensuring evidence-based practice is delivered to improve the quality of and shape responsive services for our CAMHS team in Portsmouth.

They are responsible for monitoring and ensuring maintenance of standards of care that support safe high quality practice through an episode of care.


The role has four key themes:
Consultation, Liaison, Supervision, Training and Clinical work.

There are three additional leadership roles held by the Service Matron:
Operational Leadership, Financial and Strategic.
