As part of the company's growth and expansion, the company is looking to appoint a Sales / Business Develoment Manager to its UK and RoI Sales & Marketing team to drive the growth of the business.


This individual is a critical member of the UK and RoI business, with the responsibility for delivering the passion, commitment and commercial success required to meet our business ambitions and objectives, enhancing the reputation of the brand, whilst building productive client relationships and being accountable for the future success of the Company.

The role will require the following core responsibilities:

  • Promotion of the Company's brand portfolio and its value proposition to the identified customer / client targets
  • Business planning to ensure a coherent, well thought out sales plan is executed to deliver the commercial targets set
  • Customer and Account management of target clients' needs to ensure there is a win:win relationship for both the Company AND the clients
  • Support the development of:
- strategic new products within the Company
- brand marketing plan
- value messaging and testing
- promotional and Company materials are valuable and fit for purpose

  • Act as a "voice of the customer" to ensure the clients' opinions and feedback are a central tenet to the future success of the Company
  • Working with the Client Engagement Team to ensure successful the customers' experiences and expectations are coherently and integratedly delivered by the Hope & Glory brand promise and team
  • Budget planning and forecasting sales and financial expenditure
  • Responsible for selling, promoting and delivering the Company's product portfolio and delivering its revenue targets
  • Working with clients (Foodservice & Retail as defined) to understand their needs and achieve their goals
  • Drafting business proposals with clients, defining requirements, timelines and overall value proposition
  • Monitoring Key performance indicators and business deliverables
  • Acting as a Brand Ambassador to and for clients and consumers
  • Planning, organising and facilitating client meetings
  • Providing evidence and recommendations which inform the Company's commercial insights and strategic plans
  • Developing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual account and business plans
  • Delivering reports and presentations with clients and internally as the role requires
In this role, the individual will be responsible for day-to-day management their own defined business, and will contribute to the following:

  • Driving the customer engagement and experience
  • Identifying training needs and opportunities
  • Delivering customer and acct level training through our Tea Academy
  • Planning, actioning, reviewing, replanning and continuing to execute the account plans agreed to ensure the goals are met

  • Be alert to and cultivate business leads and opportunities with new clients
