Weekend HGV Class 1 Drivers Needed - Skelmersdale

Are you a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver looking for extra shifts at the weekend? Join a leading logistics company based in Skelmersdale and become a vital part of our logistics team.

We offer competitive pay rates and flexible shifts between Thursday to Tuesday to suit your schedule.

Role Overview:

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out a mixture of local and distance work to Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs) across the UK.

This role involves driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle with curtainsided trailers, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods.


Hours & Shift Patterns:

Weekend Work:
Shifts available between Thursday - Tuesday which can be tailored to fit your availability

Days Runs:
Starting between 03:00 - 10:00

Afternoons:
Starting between 13:00 - 16:00

Nights:

Start times between 17:00 - 03:00Pay:

Saturday:
£18.49 per hour

Sunday:
£19.61 per hour

Rates are PAYE and include holiday payDuties:

Driving:
Driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle with curtainsided trailers

Deliveries:
Carrying out general haulage and trunking work to RDCs across the UK

Location:
Completing a mixture of local and distance work depending on the run

Skills:
Strapping and securing loads (no loading or unloading required)

Safety:
Completing daily vehicle checks and managing your driving hoursSkills &
Experience:

Licence:
Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence, CPC, and Digi card

Experience:
At least 1 year of HGV Class 1 driving experience

Points:
No more than 6 points for minor endorsements

Skills:
