The position involves using Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) such as Low Level Order Pickers (LLOP) and Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT). No prior experience necessary as full training will be provided.

We welcome applications from individuals seeking Full Time, Part Time, and Flexible work, including those with specific scheduling constraints. Working hours can be customized to accommodate personal commitments. Successful candidates must be open to working at various sites in Greenford: Wincanton Sainsbury's, Wincanton Micheldever, and two Wincanton Waitrose sites (locations may vary per shift).

  • Ensure daily targets are met by performing tasks to high quality standards.
  • Prioritize health and safety by adhering to procedures and safe practices at all times.
  • Handle loading, picking, packing, and unloading responsibilities, which may involve lifting heavy items.
  • Execute manual handling tasks safely using pallet trucks and other mechanical equipment.
  • Prepare orders accurately, efficiently, and with precision.
  • Verify picked stock and assembled loads before dispatch.
  • Utilize different systems like handheld devices and voice picking via headsets to complete tasks.
  • Maintain warehouse efficiency, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.
  • Uphold a professional standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
