What you'll do
- Energy & carbon reporting monthly, quarterly and yearly for all of property (SECR, RCF, ISO50001, ESOS) engagement with Plan A team, Estates to ensure accurate site list, Logistics, Energy Bureau, FM, and tech team
- Data entry and analysis to articulate justification of performance making recommendations to improve. Carry out checks, process creation and reviews.
- Carbon data uploads for M&S Property, validate the data working with PlanA team and External Audit teams to satisfy reporting requirements.
- Key contact for the Energy Bureau driving them to fulfil their scope to a satisfactory level, conduct Energy Investigations across the UK Property Estate, and monitor consumption against plan.
- Ensure compliance against ISO50001 and ESOS accreditations.
- Electricity, gas & water usage monitoring via various online tools and dashboards
- Identifying energy efficiency opportunities both across store and office estate
- Identifying decarbonisation opportunities both across store and office estate
- Assist with the AMR Meter Rollout
- Landlord engagement on ESG initiatives
- EV, PV, EPC etc and Data requests from landlords
- Energy comms to colleagues and engagement stores, DCs, offices including challenging consumption performance.
- Updating SOPs, store help portal, process documents
- Identifying opportunities to improve embodied carbon via sustainable sourcing & materials.
- Plan A engagement across the Property function.
- EPCs (Energy Performance Certificates)
- Assist with Energy Team Budget management.
- Assist with Utilities Contract Tenders
Who you are
- Building services engineering or energy management experience or familiarity would be preferable
- Experience In external auditing
- Experience in energy efficiency initiatives/ ESG/Carbon
- Data analytics experience
- Good communicating & influencing skills
