- Must have own transport with parking on site.
- You will be joining our established and friendly team and need a high attention to detail, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- This role plays a crucial part in the team, responsible for the administration of the purchasing department, ensuring all records are kept up to date.
Previous experience within a purchasing department is helpful but not essential. If you have a steady working background, strong administration and communication skills, our client is willing to provide training.
- Update and accurately check all purchase orders and order acknowledgements to avoid delays in customers receiving their goods.
- Contact suppliers daily who have not delivered within the agreed time frame on the purchase orders.
- Proficient in working with Microsoft products and spreadsheets.
- Handle all supplier returns and customer returns efficiently.
- Manage supplier invoice queries raised to the Purchasing team weekly by the Finance Team.
- Create and set up all product codes and images.
- Prepare supplier price increases upon receipt from the supplier.
- Extract purchasing-related reports as needed by the Purchasing Manager for monthly meetings and supplier reviews.
- Review late orders and maintain proactive communication with suppliers.
