Purpose of Post:

Responsible for the installation and test of chassis and body electrical control systems in accordance with customer specification, ensuring the necessary quality standards are maintained and adhered to.

Key Tasks:

üResponsible for the compliance with the company's health and safety policy and procedures ensuring the workshop policies are being adhered to.

üTo ensure that work carried out is to the Wrightbus agreed quality standard and ensure that all such quality sign offs, and procedures are complied with.

üResponsible for ensuring that the vehicle electrical control system is installed to the specification requirements as detailed by the relevant documentation.

üResponsible for ensuring that the vehicle electrical control system is installed to the specification requirements as detailed by the relevant documentation.

üResponsible for the termination of various automotive and high voltage connections up to 800V AC or DC.

üResponsible for the test and commissioning of the vehicle electrical system as per Quality Assurance documentation.

üResponsible for the fault finding and repair of the vehicle electrical system using bespoke diagnostic software.

üResponsible for ensuring the installation is completed in accordance with the allocated process time.

üMust be prepared to work overtime when requested by management

üUndertake any training or retraining associated with the post, or introduction of new working practices or engineering changes including the training of others

Essential Criteria:

Educational Attainments:Time served automotive, domestic or industrial electrician.

Job Experience: Demonstrate capability to work on systems up to 600V AC or DC, Capable of reading wiring diagrams, Demonstrate experience of routing and connection of various cable types.

Technical Skills:Demonstrate basic fault-finding techniques.

Leadership Skills:Good interpersonal skills, Willing to undertake or provide training as required, An awareness of general Health and Safety rules.
