We are looking to recruit a driver ( term time) post 24 hour per week post. This post starts and finishes in Cumnock.

We are one of the largest Community Transport Operators in Scotland providing charitable community transport solutions for the sector.

You must hold a D1 on your licence for this post.

Role description:

  • Ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers carried
  • Supporting children with additional support needs, therefor a calm and approachable manner is essential
  • Term time 24 hours per week (work requirement only when the schools are in)
  • Cleaning of vehicles as required
  • Supporting service user with additional supported needs including wheelchair users
  • Liaise with parents/carers/educational establishments
  • Proven work record
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • Not barred from working with children or adults & able to undergo a PVG check
  • Polite "can do" flexible attitude
  • Confidentiality at all times
  • Can work on your own as well as part of a team
  • Checkable work history
  • Living Wage Employer

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 36 months

Pay:
£12.00 per hour

Expected hours:
No more than 24 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

On the road
