You will be joining an award-winning technology solutions and service provider.

With multiple offices in the UK and Europe, they are looking for a Service Desk Analyst to provide support on the service desk area of the business.

They are keen on your developmentand growth so are looking for someone with an applied interest in IT and technology.

Your new role
You will be working on the service desk as an analyst, supporting the business and its clients.

  • Proactive monitoring of systems/service status & equipment in harmony and conjunction with Service Desk technologies
  • Receive, own, assess and direct 1st and 2nd level customer queries for Service Operations across the entire install base
  • Manage, prioritise, and respond promptly and effectively to assigned Incidents, demonstrating & performing effective Incident Management disciplines
  • Leverage other divisions in the company to accelerate solutions to issues
  • Support production of customer reports with all relevant information
What you'll need to succeed

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, networks, and technology such as: Dell, EMC, Cisco, Dell, HP, NetApp
  • Proven ability in using Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint
  • Related experience within data centre technologies
  • Experience working with Service Desk tool such as ServiceNow

Mandatory:

  • Strong customer focus
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Solid analytical capabilities
  • Ability to work as a member of a dynamic team as well as work alone
  • Capable of working 6:45am 7:15pm shift pattern (May include some weekend work)
  • Willingness to go oncall when fully trained
  • Full driving license
