Monday to Sunday (You will need to work 5 days out of 7 days including weekends sometimes)

Hours: 7:00 - 14:00 or 15:00 - 19:30

Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is part of the National Health Service (NHS) and was formed in July 2010 with the integration of Mayday Healthcare NHS Trust with Croydon Community Health Services.


Croydon Health Services provides integrated NHS services to care for people at home, in schools, and health clinics across the borough as well as at Croydon University Hospital and Purley War Memorial Hospital.


This is a Temporary Role

Main Duties:

  • To ensure codes of practise for HACCP and Food Safety are followed as per site training.
  • Maintain excellent personal hygiene and uniform standards.
  • Identify and report faults to department supervisors or leads.
  • Maintain excellent cleaning standards within the work areas, following cleaning schedules supplied.
  • Check dates and rotation of food accordingly within work area.
  • Handling cleaning chemicals in accordance with COSSH and training provided.
  • Any other duties as directed by Management and Supervisors.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

Skills Required:

  • Experience in a catering or similar role
  • Previously worked in a kitchen or Retail role in a care home, another trust or school
  • Excellent customer service
  • NHS experience
  • Reliable and hard working
