Job summary

We are nowlooking for an exceptional, experienced senior clinical leader to join our teamin a Director of Care job-share role as our current Director of Care is lookingto reduce their hours. We have a strong senior leadership team who workextremely well together with high levels of trust, compassion and ambition.This is wide and varied strategic role which will shape the delivery of ourservices into the future, as well as driving quality of care and compliancewithin our current services. You will be required to work hours per week ( FTE)

Wednesday,Thursday and Friday predominantly between the hours of withsome evening meetings and participation in the on-call rota.

Main duties of the job

The job share and partner will be responsible for thefollowing, between them.

The post holder is a key member of the Senior LeadershipTeam and will be responsible for development and delivery of the Care Strategyfor Nottinghamshire Hospice. This includes the leadership, operationalmanagement and development of clinical services and clinical governance toensure high quality care and evidence-based clinical practice. In collaboration with other members of themanagement team the post holder will contribute to the wider strategicdevelopment of the Hospice and work to ensure objectives are achieved.

On behalf of the Hospice, they will also hold the publicposition of:

RegisteredManager for the Hospice with the Care Quality Commission

AccountableOfficer for Controlled Drugs

SafeguardingOfficer

CaldicottGuardian

The post holder will also; ensure that the hospice servicesare compliant with regulatory bodies, such as the Care Quality Commission, leadthe governance agenda for the Hospice across all service areas, ensuringcompliance with the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) Quality Schedulerequirements and ensure compliance with contractual requirements for servicesprovided for Clinical Commissioning Groups and other commissioners.
