Collaborating with various partners, the Enterprise and Communities service plays a crucial role in guiding this regeneration effort towards sustainable development. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a proactive work approach, dedicated to delivering frontline service to tenants, participating in community clean-ups, and supporting recycling initiatives within a team setting.

Based in the Wishaw Locality's temporary accommodation, your role will involve providing a reception service to users, offering basic support to residents, performing cleaning tasks, and managing building access. An adaptable mindset is essential for interacting with individuals dealing with mental health and substance abuse challenges.

Previous experience in caretaking, cleaning, or security is a requirement for all Estate Officers, along with a background in public-facing roles. While knowledge of CCTV systems and cleaning equipment is beneficial, comprehensive training will be provided. Outdoor work, manual handling, heavy lifting, and assisting tenants and the public will be part of your responsibilities.

Possessing a valid driver's license would be advantageous for estate management assignments.

The selected candidate will undergo a PVG check through Disclosure Scotland.

Estate Officers (Accommodation) are scheduled to work on a 4-day on/4-day off rotation, including day and night shifts. Flexibility may be needed to cover various areas within North Lanarkshire Council.
