Blendworth Furnishings Cafe which is based in a beautiful Arts and Crafts building in Horndean.


Since our refurbishment and reopening in April we have been delighted to welcome customers both old and new back to Crookley Park.

Due to our success we are looking to recruit for a
new front of house/relief Chef.

This role will be primarily front of house but will also involve assisting the chef during busy periods and on rota days off.

This is a full time role working every other Saturday. We are shut on Bank holidays and Sundays.

The role comprises of:

  • Welcoming our customers
  • Making coffee and hot drinks (full barista training will be given)
  • Serving and engaging with customers to provide a great customer service
  • Taking drinks and food to tables
  • Assist the chef to cover rota days off/holidays
  • Day to day cleaning
  • Looking for ways to exceed customer expectations

What we are looking for:

  • A friendly and warm individual who can give great customer service
  • Previous catering experience including confident cook
  • Someone who is happy to learn new things and willing to go the extra mile to provide great customer service
