What will I be doing?

We're working to improve the lives of children and young people in Somerset - and you'll be a key part of that.


Your day-to-day work will involve:

  • Working with children and young people, years, with disabilities and special educational needs.
  • Planning, organising and leading activities up to 3 times per week during school holidays with children & young people, aged years
  • Some availability to lead/take part in the evening and occasional Saturday work.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be.

But it will really help if you have:

  • Experience of supporting children with disabilities personally and/or professionally.
  • A good knowledge of IT.
  • The ability to work in partnership with families and other professionals is essential.
