We are thrilled to offer an opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Sales Manager with a solid track record in the Travel & Tourism industry to join a well-established Global Tour Operator in Worcestershire. If you're a passionate Sales professional seeking the next challenge, look no further This role is full time with approximately 30% travel required (both nationally and globally) and offers a hybrid work setup for office attendance. As the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in fostering relationships with global partners and supporting your team's growth in areas such as Cruise, B2B Sales, and Product Teams. This position involves occasional weekend travel, reimbursed as time off in lieu, and office hours are from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Bonuses are performance-based and tied to both personal achievements and departmental KPIs.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Lead and assist your teams in meeting and surpassing KPIs
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with team members and establish development plans and goals
  • Participate in management meetings
  • Oversee departmental P & L
  • Forecast and monitor KPIs, providing reports to stakeholders
  • Expand distribution channels to enhance partnerships
  • Assist Global teams in Strategy Development and Execution
  • Negotiate rates, margins, and other commercial terms and incentives as needed
  • Identify new opportunities to expand the global reach
  • Hold frequent meetings with Key Partners to maximize revenue potential
  • Prepare, present, and analyze reports and data
  • Attend national and global trade fairs, events, meetings, and internal conferences

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • Essential experience in the Travel Industry, preferably with a tour operator, cruise lines, or distribution channels
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, displaying adaptability, self-motivation, and enthusiasm
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous managerial experience is advantageous
  • Strong analytical abilities
