We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer/Installer to cover our expanding Scotland and North of England region. Applicants MUST be based within this region.


This role will involve working to a planned schedule of service and maintenance jobs at various client's premises, carrying out pre-installations, installations and reactive maintenance activities.


Job description:

  • Ensuring client projects are completed on time and within the detailed scope.n
  • Completing scheduled maintenance and installation tasks.n
  • Rapid response to breakdown call-outs.n
  • Resolving customer technical issues on-site.n
  • Completion of all necessary daily task/work reporting documentation.n
  • Training client employees and internal staff as required.n
  • Travel around the assigned area, predominantly Scotland and the North of England.n
  • On occasion, European travel may be required.n
  • Weekend and evening work required, as necessary from time to time.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • MUST be based in Scotland or the North of England.n
  • Minimum 2 years experience in mechanical and electrical/electronics service and maintenance.n
  • Experience working with plastics and small electric tools.n
  • Ability to technically assess situations and issues and proactively advise on solutions.n
  • Good communication skills both written and oral.n
  • Excellent time management skills.n
  • The ability to follow detailed procedures.n
  • Be adept at team collaboration and client relationship building.n
  • Knowledge of Pneumatic Tube Systems is an advantage.n
  • Possess a clear DBS recordn
  • Have a full clean driving licence
