As Marketing Manager you will report directly to our clients Head of Marketing and will play an integral role in the creation and delivery of key marketing strategies across multiple offline and online channels.

This is a broad marketing role, meaning youwill have a lot of involvement across digital marketing (social/SEO) as well as taking lead on the brand/PR side of the business.


Within the role you will be a key leader for the junior team members, working closely to support their work to ensure that it meets the needs of the business and collaborative campaigns.


A core focus for this role will be the continued development of our clients brand name and reputation in their core markets.

Our client hosts and attends many events, exhibitions and podcasts annually and thus you will play a key role in the preparationand delivery of these, which may include working on elements such as stand designs and marketing collateral, as well as attending these events as a face of the business.


There is also a commercial element to this marketing manager role, with responsibilities for engaging content and marketing plans that drive new business relationships, repeat business and key growth across targeted commercial KPI's.


Finally you will take responsibility for campaign analytics and will utilise data from previous campaigns to drive forward future strategy to be implemented alongside the Head of Marketing and to be driven by yourself and the marketing executives.


Duties will include (but may not be limited to):

  • Creating broad marketing strategies that consider both online and offline channels
  • Oversight of the companies brand and brand improvements in core target markets
  • Lead the planning and delivery of events from a marketing perspective
  • Help organise company podcasts and video marketing
  • Delivering company presentations and collateral
  • Deliver high quality designs whilst working with the design team and external agencies
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with PR firms and industry press
  • Measure and monitor campaign success via the use of marketing analytics
  • Deliver relevant future strategies that are data driven and actively targeted


The ideal individual for this role will therefore demonstrate a real 'can do' attitude, will be creative in their ideas and accurate in their delivery.


You will demonstrate the capacity to engage external partners, client and prospects though marketing and will be keen to add real and immediate value to the company brand and performance wherever possible.


The desirable skills & qualities of the ideal individual:

  • Excellent marketeer with strong experience across the broad marketing suite
  • Some leadership or mentorship skills preferred
  • Financial services/property finance lending experience preferred
  • Strategic yet creative approach to marketing and delivery
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive approach, quick to identify and address problems or opportunities
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Highly organised in order to manage marketing scheduled and spin multiple plates
  • A natural leader/role model


Our client is ideally looking to pay up to c£45k as a basic salary for the ideal individual, relevant to experience.

Higher offers may be considered for exceptional experience. This will be complemented by access to the lenders bonus and benefits schemetoo which will increase income further still.


Most notably, as the lender achieving such exciting growth it is understood that the arriving Marketing Manager may find opportunities to propel their own career standing & earnings forward within, once excellent performance is delivered in this role.
