Westmorland and Furness Council

Contract:
Fixed term for 12 months
Hours: 24 hours per week, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday

Salary:
The advertised salary includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.

About this opportunity

• We are looking for someone to assist the Town Hall Team Leader in undertaking all aspects of caretaking, safety, security and cleaning at the Councils Public Halls and buildings in Kendal, supporting the preparation of the Public Halls and buildings for a variety of events and liaise as required with customers and hirers.

We are looking for someone with experience of working with the public, ideally in a similar type of role, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships, excellent communication skills and the ability to undertake at time physically intensive and demanding tasks.
