Job Summary:

  • Stock management
  • Basic maintenance of company machinery and tooling
  • Basic maintenance of company vehicle fleet
  • Loading and unloading goods
  • Utilising warehouse management systems for efficient operations
  • Forklift operation
  • Loading/unloading of company vans
  • Keeping the warehouse/premises clean and tidy
  • Casting, processing and dispatching product samples for clients

Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts to move goods within the warehouse
  • Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products
  • Pick and pack equipment accurately according to site requirements
  • Manage stock levels and perform regular stock counts
  • Handle materials with care to prevent damage
  • Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required
  • Load and unload company vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory
  • Assist in shipping and receiving processes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Worker or similar role
  • Proficiency in forklift operation and other warehouse equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders
  • Ability to handle heavy items safely and effectively
  • Good physical condition to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage stock efficiently
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous
  • Familiarity with maintenance of machinery, tooling and electrical items is advantageous
  • Familiarity with fleet management and maintenance of company vehicles is advantageous


Daily and total amount of hours per week is negotiable as this is a completely new role to the business.


Pay:
£13.00 per hour
