Job Responsibilities:

  • Gain knowledge about different insurance products, such as property and casualty, life, health, and commercial insurance.
  • Support senior brokers in managing client portfolios, which includes processing policy applications, renewals, and endorsements.
  • Conduct research and analysis on insurance policies and coverage options to offer suitable recommendations to clients.
  • Assist in creating quotes, proposals, and presentations for clients.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate terms, rates, and coverage for clients.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with clients to ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance products.
  • Take part in training programs and workshops to improve your knowledge and abilities in insurance brokerage.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problems-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize responsibilities.
  • A strong eagerness to learn and build a career in the insurance industry.
  • Prior experience in customer service or sales is beneficial.
