Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

VMS Automotive operate nationwide with workshops and vehicle hire sites throughout the UK with our Head Office based in Stevenage and our Operations centre based in Bury St Edmunds.

As a result of our continued growth, we are looking for additional team members to join our team to help us continue providing outstanding service to our customers.

We are specialists in the conversion of panel vans into commercial refrigerated vehicles, with a highly experienced management team with over 60 years of sector experience.

Our expert team of converters can be relied upon to deliver quality temperature-controlled vehicle conversions on time and to specification.

The Role:
Fitting, Assembling, and Installing Parts and Components to Light Commercial Vehicles to create a functional Van Conversion to the required specification

You will carry out bespoke modifications to vehicles.

You will assemble Refrigerated Vehicles to road ready standards.

Work with different materials such as GRP, fibreglass, stainless steel, aluminium and wood

Operate basic cutting machinery and a variety of hand tools

Complete full vehicle body builds to a high standard - including all areas of the interior and exterior buil

Maintaining good housekeeping standards

Assisting with collections and deliveries of vehicles

The Person:
Work well as a member of a team and independently

Follow health and safety guidelines

Have some knowledge of auto electrics but not essential as only wiring will be required.

The ability to complete tasks within set time is vital

Must have a full UK Drivers Licence
