CL Projects UK Ltd are looking for experienced cladders with proven industry experience to play a significant role in its delivery of two new building projects.
Experience of rainscreen cladding and glazing is desirable. The projects based predominantly in Leyland, with a three-month stint in North Wales, commence in July 2024.The role will involve mainly external work, (working off scissor lifts / cherry pickers) and entails:
- Setting out SFS from drawings (gridlines and datums)
- Filling out daily inspection forms for scaffold towers and MEWPs.
- Weatherboarding
- Fitting windows, doors and curtain wall
- Installing SFS as per set out drawings off mobile towers and MEWPs.
- Installing Siniat/Cem weather defence board to specifications.
- Sealing Siniat expansion joints with EPDM.
- Setting out vertical and horizontal rail positions.
- Lifting cladding panel on to scaffold and MEWPS.
- Installing cladding panels level and fixing as per specification. (face fix top floor)
- Installing flashings around window and door reveals.
- Installing balustrade tracks and glass as per specification.
- Installing windows and doors level, square and plumb to grid lines and datums as shown on set out drawings.
- Bonding EPDM to Siniat weather defence board.
- Loading out and installing glass units into frames and gasket where required.
- Fitting curtain wall to set out drawings.
- Glazing curtain wall, plate and cap off MEWPs.
- Keeping the work area tidy.
- Hold a current CSCS card
- Have knowledge of various cladding products/insulations.
- Have experience in various types of cladding installation, maintenance, and repair. (5 years minimum)
- Be able to read and understand drawings, grid lines and datums.
- Be able to work with hand tools and be confident working at height.
- Have a strong understanding of Health and Safety Regulations and safety protocols.
- Hold a full, clean driving license.
- Be willing to work away from home

- IPAF & PASMA ideal but not essential.
- Strong work ethic with excellent attitude towards health & safety.
- Good communication skills

- Ability to work with a degree of autonomy
- A willingness to undertake training and assist in mentoring trainees.

£16.00-£23.00 per hour
