Location: This role offers a flexible work setup, with a blend of remote work and on-site presence in Thames Ditton (Surrey) post the initial 6-month period.
Description: As a Quantity Surveyor under the supervision of the Head of Quantity Surveying, your key responsibilities will involve:
- Managing cost aspects of multiple projects from start to finish.
- Supervising the creation of tender papers, contracts, financial plans, pricing documents, and related paperwork.
- Guiding and coaching a team of surveyors while upholding high work standards.
- Offering insights on procurement tactics and contractual disputes.
- Evaluating the financial repercussions of design alterations and suggesting cost-efficient resolutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A reputable degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field, along with substantial professional expertise in the residential arena.
- Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent accreditation.
- A proven history in financial management and budget control for large-scale residential ventures.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and background in leading surveyor teams.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and a client-centric mindset.
- Exceptional organizational and communication proficiencies, capable of effective coordination across all personnel levels and external partners.
