Role Purpose:
Credit Control Manager - Our client is looking for someone to be responsible for credit risk management, ensuring processes in place are adhered to with accurate, timely and appropriate reporting.
Proactive management of arrears with all Site and Area Managersand identification and assistance in resolution of customer disputes through to collection and on to litigation where appropriate.
Leading a team of 3 staff to achieve strong credit control outcomes. In addition managing the Deposit Return team to ensure timely and accurate deposit returns.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure the consistent use of Yardi systems and implement system enhancements
- Continuously review process to identify process improvement and efficiencies
- Ensure site management collection of receivables from customers as they fall due to strict collection targets
- Lead allocation of cash received onto Yardi sales ledger including SO's and DD's
- Identify and register customer queries on Yardi and monitor progress of queries to their satisfactory resolution
- Lead on preparation and dispatch of monthly chase letters and legal notifications
- Proactively communicate to site and area management any debt risks
- Preparation of "lock out" lists for delinquent accounts
- Identification and escalation to senior management any risk that may result in material financial loss to our client
- To provide the highest level of service to all internal and external customers at all times
- Manage goals for bad debts and overdue debt
- Accurate management reporting of company performance against agreed KPI's is completed to agreed timescales
- Review of Tenant Deposits levels to cover outstanding sums
- Lead team with regular 1:1s, consistently performance managing staff
- Manage weekly debt review meetings with senior management
- Negotiate payment plans with tenants where necessary to minimise debt and credit note write offs.
- Maintain all Bacs reports including AUDDIS, ADDACS & ARUDD.
- Generate all DDs on a monthly basis for collection on 1st of each month.
- Manage all accounts that are sent through to our clients Solicitors
- Check all invoices are recharged onto tenant accounts where applicable.
- Experience of managing and leading a team and driving results
- Experience of working with all levels of personnel, able to build strong relationships with key Managers in the business and able to influence and drive change
