Full-time position, 5 days a week with occasional Saturdays

Essential Skills
- A friendly and proactive attitude, able to stay calm even on the busiest days
- Prior experience in handling antiques and valuable items, preferably within an auction setting
- Experience in cataloguing auction items is advantageous
- Strong time-management and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication skills and a good team player
- Capability to lift and move heavy objects with assistance
- Quick learner with attention to detail and a focus on maintaining high standards
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures and experience in a secure environment is a plus
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
- Solid understanding of Microsoft applications
- Driving license
- Readiness to go beyond job description and expand knowledge within the company
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the efficient storage of auction items and collections
- Identify items for storage with clear stock control labels
- Organize and maintain storage areas following company standards
- Ensure proper labeling and storage location for items
- Update the database with relevant stock control information
Support in collection and delivery processes
- Facilitate clients and logistics partners in item delivery
- Coordinate with logistics companies for efficient collection methods
- Monitor collection and delivery schedules, ensure readiness of items
- Accurately record client data and consignments information
- Respond promptly to client queries
Assist in preparing items for sale and organizing presale viewings
- Accurately categorize items for sale and assist with condition reports
- Help set up salerooms for viewing, including arrangements and visuals
- Handle additional requests and support photography department as needed
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and report any issues
- Maintain tidy and obstruction-free work areas
