Control and Instrumentation Department Head at TRIS

Are you ready to take on a key role in the Control and Instrumentation Department at TRIS located in Billingham?

Risktec Resourcing, part of the TUV family, is assisting TUV Rheinland Industrial Services (TRIS) in finding a qualified Control and Instrumentation Department Head for their office in Billingham, UK. If you are a chartered instrument & control engineer with at least 10 years of experience, this role might be perfect for you.

  • Manage and lead the instrument & control Engineering Team
  • Supervise and allocate work to engineers and designers
  • Prepare scopes of work and estimates
  • Deliver the engineering design scope within budgets and schedules
  • Co-ordinate with other Engineering disciplines/client/package vendors
  • Design authority for all instrument & control aspects

Key skillsrequired include:

  • Background in Heavy Engineering/Chemical/Petrochemical/Oil & Gas Industries preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of instrument & control experience
  • Technical Engineering Degree and preferably a Chartered Engineer
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Experience with MS office suite and some knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of ATEX and equipment for electrically hazardous areas
