Your World Recruitment seeks Ambulance Fleet Drivers for an ongoing temporary position in Bedford, Bedfordshire.

Rota basis covering 7 days a week 37.5 hours per week
Shifts:
  • 6 am - 2 pm
  • 2 pm - 10 pm (including breaks)

Pay Rates:
1. £12.82 per hour for hours between 6 am - 8 pm 2. £16.50 per hour for Saturday/8 pm - 10 pm 3. £20.50 per hour for Sunday/Bank Holidays
Job Purpose:

Responsible for safe collection and delivery of Trust vehicles, ensuring vehicles are driven safely and economically. Conduct extended road tests of vehicles and maintain flexibility in working hours.

Responsibilities include:

  • Communicate information to workshop staff and managers
  • Deliver and collect Trust vehicles
  • Undertake extended road tests
  • Perform 'Vehicle Checks'
  • Adapt to operational changes
  • Report defects and ensure vehicle safety
  • Represent the Trust professionally
  • Maintain fuel card and phone accountability
  • Keep in contact with relevant personnel
  • Complete necessary records
Qualifications/Skills/Experience
  • Full and valid C1 driving licence
  • Ability to work specified hours
  • Willingness to register with Your World Recruitment
