Hummingbird Home care are offering employment opportunities within our family-run service to compassionate and caring applicants.

You will be providing support to promote independence and dignity to a variety of clients including those who are elderly, have physical disabilities, learning difficulties, Parkinson's etc.


Your role will provide personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, basic housework and, most importantly, a listening ear when they need you.


You will need to be warm, friendly, patient, and compassionate to ensure the correct level of support is provided to promote their independence.


Hummingbird will ensure you are provided with the necessary training and mentorship to carry out outstanding levels of care to our clients.


Your training will include online learning and face-to-face training with our in-house trainer, but of course this is only where your training begins.

We will provide on-going mentoring and support starting with shadow shifts with a senior support worker to build your confidence, only when you and they are confident of your ability will you support our clients independently.


Hummingbird will ensure you complete your Care Certificate within the first three months of starting your role and will provide the opportunity to complete your diploma if this is something you would like to pursue after 6 months of employment.

We offer a competitive rate of pay of £12.10 per hour which is doubled on all

bank holidays.
Ø
Our core caring hours are 7 days per week between the hours of:

Day: 7 am-11 pm,

Night: 10pm-8am.


Having a full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential to this role as you will be visiting various addresses in Warrington.

There will also be occasions where you maybe asked to accompany clients out in the community.

Experience is not necessary as full training is provided to all new starters.


Ø
A good level of spoken and written English is a requirement due to legal documentation which you will need to complete throughout your working day.


Ø
You must live in Warrington or in the surrounding areas, (within a - mile radius).
