We are looking for a General Assistant to be part of our Aftersales department, based in Hounslow BYD London Office, and will be required to travel.

Main duties and responsibilities :

  • Provide general administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling travel arrangements.
  • Process and prioritize incoming emails, phone calls, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff or handling them independently.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and other documents as needed.
  • Maintain and organize filing systems (digital and/or physical)
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ordering and restocking as necessary.
  • Assist with data entry and other clerical tasks.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, taking minutes and ensuring action items are tracked.
  • Manage travel logistics (if applicable).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills, qualifications and experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Has right-to-work in the U.K.
