We're on the lookout for a dedicated part-time Bookkeeper to join our team in London. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of our dynamic company and take charge of your responsibilities right from the start.
You:
- Prior experience in real estate is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a small, dynamic team.
- Comfortable working in our office near Bank Tube station for seamless teamwork.
Day To Day:
Key responsibilities
- Manage incoming invoices for real estate investments and facilitate payment processing.
- Support the Financial Controller in bookkeeping tasks using specialized software.
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and more.
- Aid in VAT returns preparation and submission.
- Communicate with property managers to address invoice concerns.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills/Attributes
- At least 5 years of proven bookkeeping experience.
- Solid grasp of bookkeeping principles and accounts payable/receivable processes.
- Keen attention to detail in financial transactions.
- Proficient in accounting calculations and journal entries.
- Strong data entry skills and numerical aptitude.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficient in written and spoken English, and MS Office tools.
- Positive attitude with a proactive work approach.
- Capable of both teamwork and independent tasks.
- A-Level education or equivalent diploma certification.
