Engineering Mgr

You will initially be responsible for 4-5 junior engineers, and you will be reporting to senior management on engineering activity.

They are looking to expand over the next couple of years and it's expected that you could be managing up to 20 engineers bythe end of next year.

• Design, implement, and refine product development, testing, and manufacturing processes.
• Manage staff and assign tasks to engineering and technical personnel.
• Lead teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes.
• Oversee project logistics and resource allocation.
• Strive to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs, and to reduce waste.
• Secure the resources needed for teams to excel.
• Help to create and oversee project budgets and engages in cost management strategies.
• Attend trade shows and conferences and make site visits to suppliers' facilities.
• Advocate on behalf of team members by securing adequate resources for success.
• Communicate technical information to nontechnical stakeholders, including investors and potential customers.
• Assure that processes meet quality and safety compliance guidelines.
• Collaborate with other team leaders and departments.
• Forge and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.

Ideally you will come from Aerospace, Automotive or Defence Sectors, they may consider a similar sector as well if you have a relevant background.
