About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced CNC Miller Setter/ Operator to join our growing team. That person will be capable of setting and running machining centres to produce quality parts to specification checking their own work using a variety of measuring equipment

Working within our fast-paced workshop based in Draycott, Derbyshire, your role will see you setting Haas Machining Centres and running off parts to a high quality

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting technical drawings to produce parts to the drawing specification
  • Where necessary running multiple machines when on running jobs
  • Working on small batches of highquality parts with a right firsttime attitude
  • Able and willing to look at processes to improve productivity where possible to accelerate output within the company

About You:

Essential skills and experience

  • Experience in setting and operating CNC machining centres
  • Reading and interpreting drawings
  • Selfinspecting work
Desirable skills and experience

  • Star sliding head machine experience
  • Mastercam (training will be provided)
  • Haas control (training will be provided)
