HR Support Desk Advisor

Our client is London's Global University and are consistently ranked among the top ten Universities in the world.

Main purpose of the role:


You will be providing professional advisory service to business colleagues across a broad range of queries and processes, including supporting with complex case management, producing correspondence.

handling customer queries, monitoring reports and documentation.


You will try and provide first contact resolution where possible, through ownership of queries and taking the relevant action required, which may include liaising with other internal and external departments where needed.


Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of employee queries and see them through to resolution, with a keen focus on outstanding customer service, whilst following team ways of working
  • Clearly understand and work within service delivery boundaries and escalation routes
  • To collaborate and engage with the wider PS Hub community to provide a responsive, consistent, and forwardthinking service
  • Develop effective, positive relationships with customers, departmental contacts, and PS colleagues to positively assist in meeting their business needs

Desired person specification:

  • GCSE (A-C) English and Maths or equivalent or have equivalent skills acquired in the workplace
  • Experience of using a CRM system, such as RemedyForce, to manage customer correspondence, processes and service delivery via reporting
  • Proven experience and working knowledge of customer service focused practices, within a large complex organization
  • Experience HR/Payroll or Finance database (Oracle would be advantageous)
  • The ability to undertake basic numerical calculations
  • Commitment to maintain and keep up to date with changes in legislation and procedures relating to the role
  • Proven experience of a consistently high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with the Microsoft suite of software to intermediate level in Word, Excel and Outlook
