We are looking for experienced Riggers for a fantastic opportunity for a 3 month Project in the Middle East

The Project starts in January where you will be based in Dubai for the first month and Saudi Arabia for the last 2 months February and March.

You must be able to install and de-rig theatre and acrobatic equipment along with maintaining, preparing and undertaking associated tasks.

Job will also include specification and preparation of equipment, supervision of staff on site and acting as a client/venue liaison where required.

Travel and Accommodation will be provided.

Requirements:

• To be able to understand and interpret technical plans and direction within a theatre and acrobatic setting. You would be expected to carry out tasks to the expected level.
• To rig, set up and derig, rigging then assist if appropriate with lighting and/or sound and/or video for theatre equipment, within a expected timeframe.
• To plan, design and specify rigging solutions for the theatre and acrobatic specifications.
• To specify and undertake pre event prep work and to ensure it is completed accurately.
• Liaise with the Project Manager.
• To be able to work under pressure to a given timeline/build schedule.
• Demonstrate competent rigging without supervision.
• Fault find and fix
• To act as a "responsible person" on site at all times.
• To liaise with the client and venue staff as required to fulfil the delivery of the event.
• To be responsible for rigs and derigs where requested by the Project Manager and where appropriate.
• To support the team of riggers on site.
• To adhere to health and safety policy and all company procedures at all times.
• To fulfil other reasonable duties as required by the Project Manager or Senior member of team when on site.
• MUST have Rigging tickets
• MUST have experience around rigging for circus/acrobatic and flying systems.
