As a specialist distributor for Careflex, Recliners, Molift, Sunrise Medical, Permobil we offer seating assessments and positioning training.Our focus is on providing bespoke healthcare products, mobility aids, specialist seating, manual and high-end wheelchairs to the NHS local authorities and case managers.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time Specialist Seating and Wheelchair Assessor your responsibilities will include conducting seating assessments normally accompanied by a healthcare professional , providing specialist seating, wheelchair and positioning products whilst collaborating with the healthcare professionals and clients to identify the most suitable solutions.
This is a hybrid role, with most of the assessment being carried out in client premises in the northwest of England and preparation and administration being carried out in our Widnes location but with flexibility for some remote work.
Experience required for this role.Knowledge and experience in seating and wheelchair assessmentsExpertise in recommending and prescribing specialist seating and mobility aidsUnderstanding of anatomy, physiology, and ergonomicsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and guidelinesPrevious experience in the healthcare industry or related fieldQualifications or certifications in seating and mobility assessments (e.g., National Register of Wheelchair Therapists)Driving license required as vehicle will be provided.
