Robinson's Property Team have an exciting opportunity for a Surveyor covering Cheshire East, Derbyshire, and the Peak District.


Responsible for protecting and enhancing the Company's property assets, Robinson's surveyors work closely with Licensees and our Operations Team to proactively manage repairs and statutory compliance throughout our Tenanted and Managed Estate.

As Surveyor you will:

  • Resolve reactive maintenance escalations from the Property Helpdesk
  • Investigate and determine maintenance, repair, dilapidation, or refurbishment requirements and provide reports.
  • Prepare schedules of work and detailed specifications to obtain competitive tenders.
  • Have and maintain a good awareness of statutory legislation and good practice relevant to the role.
  • Ensure our pubs are statutorily compliant and that all necessary tests and inspections are up to date.
  • Hold regular meetings with Business Development Managers and Regional Operations Managers to coordinate and prioritise repairs.
  • Manage repairs and investment maintenance budgets and report on monthly performance against budget.
  • Provide support for out of hours' emergencies at evenings and weekends.
  • In conjunction with the wider Property Team, input and develop estatewide maintenance and compliance initiatives.
  • Analyse and report on compliance and stock condition data
  • Ensure Support and manage planned maintenance including Gas Safety Certification, Electrical testing, Emergency Lighting & Fire Alarm testing and the resultant remedial works.

Who we are looking for:

  • An RICS qualified surveyor or holder of a degree in constructionrelated discipline
  • A demonstrable track record of managing multisite environment.
  • Competent in building pathology
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of estimating and managing budgets
  • Uptodate knowledge of compliance legislation
  • IT literate


The ideal Surveyor will not only match all the technical skills required they will also be relationship focussed, self-motivated, and have high energy levels, with a desire to be pro-active and contribute to new ideas.
