Mandatory Requirements For PE Roles:
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, Biology or a related field
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment
Ability to inspire and motivate students Responsibilities and Requirements for PE Teachers:
Ability to teach another subject i.e. Food Technology, Science or other subjects is also an advantage.
Develop engaging and innovative teaching materials, lesson plans and projects aligned with the national curriculum.
Ensure setting of realistic and challenging expectations for pupils in their class
Liaise effectively with staff to ensure the successful transition of pupils through the school
Support many of our sports teams, as they consistently win district competitions and reach the latter stages of County and National competitions.
Responsibilities and Requirements for Head of PE will:
Held a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
Hold Supervisor Responsibility for Teachers of PE across both Key Stage 2 and 3.
Maintain and update knowledge – subject, national, pedagogy, classroom, management, research, and inspection findings
