The role
We are hiring an OTC Options Trader to join Binance OTC business team. The team is responsible for spot and derivatives OTC trading desk, agency execution, and API liquidity solutions.

The OTC Options Trader will be part of a fast growing business, fast-paced environment, and play a key role in expanding the volumes and revenue of the trading desk.


The expected tasks will be, but not limited to:

  • Monitor open positions and risk of the options book, manage configurations of the automated trade algorithms, and perform manual options trades.
  • Work closely with other traders and quantitative team to enhance the options trading strategies algorithms, profitability, and risk controls.
  • Work closely with trade operations and backoffice teams to ensure accurate trade booking and reconciliations.
  • Provide OTC spot and derivatives desk coverage during EMEA hours by operating the trade executions and settlements.
  • Work closely with the VIP sales team, and directly engage with external clients during spot and derivatives OTC transactions lifecycle.
  • Perform adhoc trade or business data analysis, product design specifications of new services, or other adhoc tasks as required by the business.

Requirements:

  • Strong academic track record, preferably in an Econometrics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant trading experience in financial derivatives.
  • Proven experience in options risk/ portfolio management, and options pricing models.
  • Good understanding of the OTC trade lifecycle, OTC pricing and execution methods.
  • Thorough understanding of market microstructure and hedging strategies.
  • Proven experience to work with Python and SQL query.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Selfmotivated and independent.
  • Strong communication skills to proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders across different cultures and geographies.
  • Experience/interest in the crypto/DeFi industry is a big plus.
